Kathy Carmichael, ARNP

Miss Carmichael received her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Prior to pursuing her advanced degree, she worked as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department setting for fifteen years.

She reflects that it is refreshing and rewarding to be involved in an aspect of medicine that is about wellness, prevention and helping people to achieve their health goals.

Linda Golden, ARNP

Linda Golden comes to WeightWise as a family nurse practitioner. She’s worked in many areas of nursing in the past and finds it very rewarding. To make a difference in someone’s life is incredible. Linda holds a Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and she earned her Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Linda provided bariatric services to patients at The American Institute of Gastric Banding for the past two years.

She thanks WeightWise for allowing her to become part of the WeightWise family and provide care to bariatric patients. She’s grateful for so many wonderful people out there that have opened their hearts and made her a part of their family.
