Patient Advocates

Tami, Jamie, Tina & Lisa

Patient Advocates are truly indispensable in the often confusing and convoluted pre-operative process. Each patient will have their own patient advocate. They are truly your advocates; they help you navigate the insurance maze, the financial maze, the preoperative medial testing maze. They are experienced working with insurance companies, referral physicians and patients.

Tami- Tami grew up in Duncan and now lives in Edmond with her husband and two daughters. Tami had weight loss surgery in 2007 with Dr. Walton. She joined the Weightwise team in October 2011. "I hope to use my experiences to help and support our patients before and after surgery."

Jamie  – Jamie resides in her hometown of Edmond with her husband and children. She joined the WeightWise team in 2007. "My passion in life is people. That passion is fueled by the many individuals I have come to know through WeightWise, both professionally and personally. I hope I can be a source of insight and support to each of our patients."

Tina – Tina grew up in small-town-Oklahoma and now resides in Del City. Originally hired as a receptionist, she was quickly promoted to patient advocate. Tina works with patients of both surgeons and prides herself on being a compassionate, but diligent “advocate” for the patients of WeightWise.

Lisa- Lisa grew up in Edmond and has raised her two daughters here.  She started with WeightWise in 2009 as a receptionist and because she wanted to work more closely with patients she asked to become a patient advocate.  She enjoys the challenges of the job and the satisfaction of helping patients reach their weight loss goals.  "It is immensely satisfying to watch the transformations in the lives of our patients. I am truly inspired working for a company whose mission is Transforming Lives."
